Iron Bridge Maunby

Spotted what I thought was just an old random railway bridge to walk the dogs to and from while waiting for an MOT at Harvey's a couple of miles away on a cold December afternoon. Discovered an urbex-level interesting, slightly structurally precarious bridge that's been turned into an art form, imbued with steel panels with quotes concerning every human grievance from politics to the environment. Once the vices of capitalism are thoroughly put to bed, the notice confirming your privilege to be there as a consequence of the goodwill of landowners further adds to the eerie surreality of the experience.

Walked up from the church at Pickhill heading toward the bridge, then west along bridle path and back south to church. Whilst not spectacular, the bridge is set in a tranquil environment with a picturesque river. About a 4 mile wander.
