Rocket Field

This playground is in desperate need of maintenance. There’s often broken glass and rubbish everywhere, making it unsafe for children. Some of the play equipment is burnt and badly damaged. On top of that, dogs are frequently off-lead, which can be worrying for kids trying to play. Since it's on the way to school, children naturally want to stop, but the poor condition and safety issues make it a real concern. It would be great if the council could clean, repair, and monitor the area better so families can enjoy it safely.

A wonderful place to speed some time, wonderful for children aged between 4 and 14, a well maintained football ground, very nice play area and a large green space. Saying it it doesn't make it justice, you have to come and see/fell it😀

Good park. Well maintained and safe. Good variety of activities for younger kids and teens. Also the site for circuses and fairs.

Nice place. Sometimes has bigger kids hanging round normally thats a bit later on though. Occasionally something will be broken but not that often. Has a good all weather football / basketball court. Large grassy area sometimes circus or fair visit.

The site of a club's football teams' pitch and changing rooms are towards Pitt Street. The access road is still present. The football club was fairly successful in the Doncaster Senior League until its demise in the 1980s. A football pitch is extant.
