Wow large portions. Well cooked food with a good choice. Had a beautiful mackerel & prawn salad followed by a fisherman's basket. I couldn't eat it all but I was offered a take out box and brought the remainder home. Great, friendly service. Clean and bright space. Enjoyed it and will definitely return.

Clean, welcoming and warm pub on a chilly day. I mainly visited as the two nearby Chippy’s have both closed down, so was looking for food. I had a good pint of John Smiths (not my first choice but I couldn’t fault the quality), two sausage rolls and a twix for £7.xx which I thought was reasonable and I was glad to be able to get some food close to the station.

extremely rude!!!!! my and my friend went into the pub after she fainted and was going to sit down order a drink, wasn’t sat down for 2 minutes and rudely asked us to leave if we are not ordering anything, then she walked off , few seconds later i’m guessing it was a manager came over rudely told us to leave , didn’t even let us explain or time to order my friend don’t like confrontation and ended having a panic attack !!!!!!
