It was very clean & hygienic even though it was almost the end of business day. The staff are so polite & very attentive. I phoned my order in & it was being wrapped up as I arrived. Unfortunately they'd run out haddock but gave me 2 pieces of cod in stead. I got home & tucked into the best fish, chips n mushy peas I've had this year. Great value for money & it's not greasy food. The batter was light & crisp. Chips cooked to perfection & the peas were so tasty. Well worth trying out if you haven't already. I, for one, will return soon & will spread the word on how tasty the food is. The kebabs & other foods they serve equally looked great & tempting. Until next time, thank you to the amazing staff & owner of this awesome fish & chip shop.

Stopped in for a bit to eat on the way home from an appointment in the area. Easy and convenient parking in a well maintained car park. I stopped in around 18:30 on a Friday night, so I was not surprised to see a queue out of the door - if anything this reassured me that people thought it was worth waiting for. However, they had a good number of staff on, and things moved along quickly, and I soon got to place my order. Plenty of food was available with a good choice on the menu. Prices were average, and certainly what I was expecting. The portion size was good though, and I think they're very good value for money. Staff were pleasant and efficient, and I soon had my box meal of sausage in batter, chips and beans and headed back to the car to tuck in. Food was hot, fresh and tasty, with no problems at all. The chips here are slightly thinner than what I would think of as a traditional chippy, but they were perfectly cooked, and it made no difference to the taste. Overall a very good meal that recharged the batteries for the drive home, and I would certainly visit again and recommend.

Food was great don't get me wrong but the pricing and portion sizes do not match. the whole atmosphere weights this down massively, due to ordering your food is just hectic, upon arriving at desk explaining what you need the waiter just walks off while you are discussing your order and while you are waiting for your waiter to come back all the staff is just having a scrap shouting at each other - creating an unpleasant and chaotic environment it made the whole experience of ordering food uncomfortable.

I’ve not had any type of kebab from a chippy for years. Due to the way, certain manufacturers season their meat. I went for kebab meat and chips. Little bit peeved that it’s £6.80 at date of purchase would’ve been a bit better to swallow at £6.00 😳😂😂 300g of Kebab meat and around 264g of Chips Garlic Mayonnaise obviously had to be on it. The Chips tasted fantastic. The Meat was seasoned right. But not very warm and I only live 2 minutes if that by Car. Nice tasty Food, just let down by lack of temperature of the “meat” Would go again (if I’m allowed 😂😂) Bread cake (Bap) was my own, Not purchased from the Chippy

Really unimpressed. The most soggy chips I EVER had from any type of takeaway, really bad. Fish also dry, soggy and a bit chewy even. Only giving one star up cos the service was polite. Sadly though worst fish and chips I ever had from a takeaway and I wish I was joking here. I really can't see how they got such high reviews, cos the food is 100% absolutely not worth it, won't be coming back. It's edible, but nothing is the right texture here and really bland
