I always get my boys birthday cakes from here, the recent one was chocolate inside, everyone commented saying it's the best they have tasted. I wouldn't get them from anywhere else as they make what the boys want. Thank you.

Very old school bakery,lots have disappeared in the Area. The growth of supermarkets as shut alot of independent bakery's. I always feels like a walk down memory lane in this store, lots of childhood favorite's. Not a shop for people watching there wait,but they do nice fresh sandwiches.

Visited last week. 2 female staff members. One was training I think, the other was so miserable No Please or Thank you. No eye contact. Not even busy so no excuse for it. It was as though we was an inconvenience having to serve us. Shame because staniforths do the best Sausage rolls. I’ll stick to going to my own local get better customer service & a smile
