Discount Food Centre

Called in today after passing a number of times. Great bargains found at this family run food centre. The management are passionate about the quality of the goods sold and mark some of them up, graded with gold stars etc. They taste test some products to keep on top of quality control. Great fresh meat deals. Good old fashioned service and value which we all used to take for granted.....glad its back again. Thanks guys.

The prices are very affordable, and you can really feel the savings compared to other stores. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which makes the whole shopping experience much nicer. What’s also worth mentioning is that you can sometimes find really good wines at excellent prices — a pleasant surprise! Overall, a reliable and budget-friendly shop that’s definitely worth visiting.

Good place for some bargains, especially if you are on a budget. Most items sell well below retail price . Some, but not all are beyond the best before date ( this is just a guide anyway) , though I can say I have never had any that was less than great. Well worth checking out. Still has some very good bargains and staff are wonderful, after several visits over time I still cannot fault this place.

Had one of those vacuum packed Lamb knuckles in their own gray/sauce for Sunday lunch today, there was far more meat in them than expected they were absolutely gorgeous certainly worth reordering if they become available again

Update It's generally quieter in the mornings. Covid review. Still friendly staff. You need to wait for a free trolley (max 2 people). There's hand sanitiser just after the entrance.
