Would 100% recommend! We stayed in the Clarkson suite which was brilliantly decorated. The room was so clean and nice. Big TV, smart mirror and shower which took us a minute to work out! The shower even had a cubby hole for bottles instead of having to kick them around the floor! Nice bed, really soft pillows which I know won't suit everyone, my bf would have prefered a firmer pillow but for me they were a dream as you seldom get soft pillows in hotels. Great tea and coffee selection with a full size kettle! Not these half a cup size nonsence you usually find! The room was very quiet, didn't get disturbed by anything. Amazing price, definitely would visit again if in the area.

What a fantastic 'Evening with Brian Blessed'. His incredibly varied anecdotes were very entertaining and it was great to have a chat with him. He even remembered acting with one of my aunts at Mexborough Theatre Guild in the early days of his career. The whole evening was well organised and conducted in a friendly atmosphere. Overall, an incredibly enjoyable experience.

We attended the Great Pretender evening on Friday 14th November. How do I even put into words what an amazing evening we had. We booked a seated table and had a superb view of the stage. The whole show start to finish was brilliant and we were still buzzing the next day. During the interval they served food which I hadn't ordered. I chanced it and asked if they had any spares and was able to purchase a delicious pepperoni pizza, which went down a treat after alcohol. There was a bit of a queue for the bar, but everyone was very happy and friendly, so it was fine. I will definitely check out what is on in the future and return.

Had a great evening here watching John Archer and Roy Walker. It's a proper, traditional, events space of which there are too few. Brilliant friendly staff, well organised event, good food and great prices. Will definitely be back and will stay in their rooms next time.
