Had a lovely breakfast made by lovely Ahmad. And it's halal v.nice
A great group of people who genuinely seem to care about helping the less fortunate in society(6:30pm on a Tuesday they do a free meal for anyone). Always willing to lend a sympathetic ear, and the food is consistently good, especially considering it's made purely from donated products. And it's all vegetarian. Can't say fairer than that. They've helped keep me and many others fed this winter.
Lovely to use the function rooms however if you go for food, don’t pay attention. The food was sub par in my opinion but their advertised cafe opening time was incorrect as I went in on a Friday at 12 o’clock & got the some what annoyed response: “oh yeah, we close early on a Friday”. This is confusing as it did say on the sign that Fridays close earlier but the times weren’t matching to what she told me. Don’t waste your time or money on the cafe. The cafe aside the staff are lovely and are willing to help you where they can & their function rooms are lovely little rooms & the toilets (although not to be raved about) are clean & well maintained.
A nice centre, very good facilities, a lot of versatility to support your needs and friendly staff. Previously we had been using the International Centre on Abingdon Road, however this is far better in every way. I would highly recommend this place if you need such facilities. The price they charge is also one of the cheapest we could find in the Middlesbrough area.
Nicole's food is absolutely outstanding. The cafe is always spotlessly clean, the menu has great variety and everything I've ever ordered has been a 10/10. Keep up the great work 👏
