Had a fantastic experience here last weekend. We visited with our local football club for a friendly pre-season match against Middlesbrough and got invited for drinks at this place (Thanks Jack!). The owners, staff and locals were very friendly people and the beer is cheap. Although small, this pub has a great atmosphere and a nice charm about it. Even though this city has a lot of sights, the evenings we spent at this place and the people we met is what I loved most. Would definitely recommend The new Alice. Ps: try the new Limocello Heerenveen mix ;)
We found this pub whilst touring all the Bars. Middlesbrough has some fantastic Pubs. But this place was, for a Yorkshireman and a Brummie was the Best.!!!!!
Called in this micro pub yesterday. Lovely friendly staff, great selection of drinks at extremely cheap prices for good brands. Would highly recommend.
