Had an absolutely fantastic evening at The Nutach. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between vibrant and intimate — warm lighting, great music, and an inviting energy that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It’s the kind of place that feels both stylish and comfortable, ideal for a relaxed night out or a special occasion. The cocktail menu is genuinely impressive, offering an exciting mix of classics and inventive signature drinks. Every cocktail feels thoughtfully created, with flavours that are balanced, surprising, and beautifully presented. Huge credit goes to the incredible mixologists Eve and Tom. Their skill and creativity are obvious in every drink they make. They take the time to chat with you, understand your preferences, and then craft something perfectly tailored — whether you love bold and boozy, light and floral, or something completely unexpected. Their passion for the craft really elevates the whole experience. We were also warmly welcomed by the owner, Simon, whose friendly and attentive hospitality set the tone for the evening. It’s clear he cares deeply about the bar and the experience every guest has. Overall, the Nutach delivers on every level: atmosphere, drinks, service, and hospitality. I’ve been going to The Nuthatch for years and it continues to be absolutely impeccable. The cocktails are always crafted with real care and creativity, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is consistently top-notch. Whether you’re after a classic done perfectly or something more adventurous, they never disappoint. Truly one of the best cocktail bars around — a place that just keeps getting better every time I visit. Highly recommended!

The cocktails are beyond comparison, wonderful atmosphere, warm and friendly staff. The charcuterie meat and cheese selection is expertly curated and offers only the best of accompaniments. Every time I've been the experience has been incredible - definitely worth paying a little extra for. Your tastebuds aren't even ready for what this place has to offer

Only cocktail bar to go to in Middlesbrough that actual makes cocktails in front of you to your tastes (no pre mixed rubbish here). Atmosphere is awesome with good music and the staff are amazing. The meat and cheese boards are fantastic in taste and value for money.

Had the cheese and charcuterie board with bottle of wine for £35! It was fantastic. Probably one of the best cheese and charcuterie boards Ive ever had!! So many additional things like pickled cucumber and cumin hummus and membrillo. Excellent!! I would totally recommend 👍
