Central Park in Middlesbrough is an absolute gem when it comes to dining out or grabbing a casual drink with friends. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, whether you’re seated indoors or enjoying the outdoor area during good weather. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes—from classic British pub fare to more modern, continental options—and everything is cooked to perfection. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and make sure you feel well taken care of. Especially vimal, britto and bristo. Portions are generous, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food and service you receive. The cocktails are also a highlight—creative, well-mixed, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re popping in for a casual lunch, a special dinner, or just drinks, Central Park never disappoints. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors to Middlesbrough!

I recently visited this restaurant and ordered the rib eye steak, which was beautifully cooked—perfectly tender and flavorful. However, the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations, especially for the £29 price tag. The fries were reminiscent of takeaway fries—cold and lacking the freshness you would expect in a sit-down meal. The salad was served in a tiny bowl for sharing, which felt odd and certainly didn’t add any flair to the dish. In terms of presentation, it was very basic—just the steak on the plate with a single onion ring. For a meal at this price point, I’d expect a bit more thought in the plating and perhaps some additional sides like mushrooms or a grilled tomato, which would have complemented the steak well. While the steak itself was decent, I’ve had far superior meals at similar-priced restaurants, and I don’t feel this meal offered good value for money. Based on this experience, I won't be returning

Food is nice and quickly served after waiting 50 minutes for a table, toilet had poo on the walls which was unreal, no dress code as people were in full tracksuits and sliders and they still play happy birthday on full blast every 20 minutes. Much nicer when it’s quiet.
