Kabul's Cuisine

. I saw the reviews of Kabuls were all good, so had to try. Wonderful friendly service from the two ladies at front of house. They advised me to choose the mixed kebab, with naan. I also added the Chana Dal, which was delicious, with just the right amount of spice, with cloves too! No fatty bits at all on the tender lamb and the chicken actually had flavour! The naan was the size of a bin lid ! I couldn't eat it all, so had some packed in to takeaway pots for the next day. I was even offered a small desert as I was leaving (can't remember what it was called, but I know it as rice pudding😋), a very kind gesture and sooo tasty too! Thank you

Absolute hidden gem, food is authentic Afghan and the portions are very generous. The best is the chappali kebab made of beef but so tender

We enjoyed lamb shinwari, it was delicious and cooked properly. If you are looking for some tasty halal food in Middlesbrough you can find it here. Fresh big Naans were good too. Overall experience was excellent.

I gotta say this is the best afghani food and one of my top spots in boro. The chapli kebab and lamb Shinwari is so good. Most of the negative reviews must be people that have no taste buds or cannot be patient for fresh food😂. I have ordered a couple times and would say the wait time is longer but it is fresh every time. 10/10 food

Ordered takeaway and also ate inside.. the food here is unbelievable, the mixed grill is to die for with high quality meats that has been cooked perfectly every time. The Curry's are also delicious and taste completely home made, the vegetarian curry was also sublime. The portions are of a very good size and these are usually accompanied by a large portion of rice or naan which are also both delicious. A special shout out to the chapli kebab which is beautiful. The only minor issue with this place is the wait times for food, of the 4 times I have been up to now I only had one bad experience and that was purely on a wait time. 10/10 probably the best grilled food in middlesbrough.
