Just through Middlesbrough again and passed the place in the car, wasn't too sure what food the restaurant served exactly but thought I'd give it a try and am I glad I did. Ordered the chicken mandi which tasted nice but the rice with the mix of spices and flavours was amazing. Can't wait to get back and try some other dishes.
Probably the best mutton dish I have had in the UK. We got the mutton mandi and pepper chicken and both the dishes were delicious. Mutton was soft, tender and flavourful. So was the chicken. Definitely give this place a go for it’s food and cozy atmosphere.
We tried the Mixed Mandi (4 ppl) here and it was really good! The rice was fragrant and well-cooked, with just the right amount of spices. The mix of meats was tender and flavorful. The portion size was generous and definitely filling.
We just visited The Royal Mandi for the first time and were really impressed. The service was friendy and efficient and the food was delicious. We really loved the pepper chicken starter - so tasty with a lovely heat to it. The portions are plentiful and the food is great value for money. We'll definitely be back.
I've been to Royal Mandi twice now and the Chicken Mandi and Lamb Mutton with rice is very tasty , spicy and flavourful with nice sauce , the staff are very friendly and the value for money is amazing ! This will be my new regular eating place for now !
