Wendy's

This is quite a different restaurant in Middlesborugh - in the sense that there aren't that many Wendy's outlets in the UK, so that makes it rather special! Not only is it unique, but it also has very good food! The Baconator is personally never a miss for me, I often pair them with the Baconator fries, but they aren't necessary. Their frosty's are also PHENOMENAL, HONESTLY. I've had very few desserts that have compared to their chocolate frosty, it's so good ahhh (I want one now). Very good restaurant, I hope it manages to stay here!

It was just another fast food restaurant. Nothing amazing. Fries weren't as nice as McDonald's. Had a strange taste. Burger OK but NOTHING extraordinary. The only thing I would go back for was an ice cream that my daughter got. It was a choice of drink in the meal section so I thought it would be a milkshake. But it was a cup of delicious ice cream with biscoff crumbs on the top. I had a latte. It was OK. My teenage children enjoyed the food. We only went in because of the cries of my youngest going "oh it's Wendy's, oh it's Wendy's". I had no idea who Wendy was, and still don't. 😂🤣

First time visiting here we don't visit Middlesbrough very often due to the lack of shops now even boots closed down! We paid a visit with our 3 child £36 later children wouldn't eat the nuggets in tasted them and they tasted awful McDonald's tasted better and fresher fries barely warm and avocado chicken burger greasy chicken tasted average bacon super greasy didn't really enjoy it at all plus my hubby went to ask for mayonnaise and the staff serving wouldn't give him any at first as said wasn't on the order! The other member of staff saw this and gave him some Definitely will not be returning here not great at all

I never complain about anything cos I’m a complete fanny but the kids insisted on going in Wendy’s Middlesbrough today for Jess’s Birthday Tea. The place was fairly empty but an absolute tip. All tables needed wiping down, floors were covered in food, bins were over flowing and there were no napkins in the dispenser. Despite this the kids had their hearts set on 20nuggets and chips so we ploughed on and ordered. Whilst waiting for our food to arrive we were joined by a hungry pigeon who fancied a few chips 🤣🍟 I’m no snob but for £55 for take away meal for 4 I expect better. Don’t get me wrong the triple burger I had was mega but just a few more staff or better management is def called for.

Food was bang on! I'm a huge fan of the chain and am properly buzzed to have one in the North East. Big problem is it won't last for long if staff aren't on the ball with hygiene!!! Place is filthy already, toilets will be disgusting in a matter of weeks if they don't keep on top of it. The touch screens were absolutely filthy. Please do better if you want this place to thrive. Seemed to me that all the staff feel the young kid doing the tidying up is responsible for it all !!! Wrong!!! Do better and this place will be buzzing, stay as it seemed today and you'll be shut by Christmas.
