Why charging customers who are already paying to charge their electric car means it’s kind of a punishment to own an ev, disgraced council!!!
Been a good while since I've used this car park. Needed to nip into Boro for an appointment and was surprised to find the car park barely 25% full. Didn't take long to realise why though - the charges are ridiculous even for a short stay Stars given because yes, it is a car park, and yes, you can park your car there. Don't though, go somewhere else - even car parks only an extra minute or two walk out are better choices.
Lots of electric charging and normally plenty of space available, Disabled parking only 3 spaces and they are packed close together, not enough adequate disabled parking with proper spacing. If using this car park for disabled parking beware the 2 choices of heading towards town, the drop kerbs are not very good and the pathways are uneven.
Easy to access and close to shopping facilities
Slowest charging location I've ever come across.
