Do not recommend. I’ve just registered with an alternative practice after being registered here the majority of my life. The attitude of the reception staff, delays in getting appointments was something I could put up with. But this week I was gaslit into thinking there was nothing wrong with me, and offered a telephone appointment for three weeks time. Fast forward to 111 sending me to hospital in the early hours of this morning.
I would give 0 stars if this option would exist. The service is very poor. Got my blood work done and when I called to receive the results, I was told I had to go in to fill out a form for them to be able to tell me. For my own personal results! The receptionist talked down on me and very rudely. I am a fully trained biomedical scientist and know my way around blood work and the results and what it should be! To not even be able to get my own results and to what parameters these values are tested against is very wrong and shows a lack of respect towards the patient! Also, to not even be able to discuss anything with the doctor is very concerning. How would a receptionist know which values are concerning and which ones are not? I am changing my GP now!
I wish 0 was an option on here. All of the repeated cases of neglect towards my health. So far I've had numerous issues dismissed as being "just your menstrual cycle" or "stress". Had to spend a fortune going private so that I could find out its not actually my cycle, but its actually celiac disease and Christ knows what else. If you need someone to listen, you'd get more compassion from a brick wall.
Been with this GP over 40 years. Back in the day with the likes of Dr foster and Dr canning it was great. This past decade has gotten worse and worsem can regularly take over 100 calls to get through. The staff just don't care any more. I've had ongoing issues for 6 months now and managed to see a Dr once who did nothing. Just get told to wait longer. Gone from elite level athlete to struggling to do a pushup over night
Absolute joke of a service..... you get told to do an e-consult, only for them to miss the first paragraph requesting a sick note. Phone next day and ask for progress, to be told we'll send a request to the doctor today. Phone the day after to ask for progress, on hold 10 minutes as caller number one, for someone to pick up the phone and hang up...... finally get through to be told "did you request a sick note" and then we'll send a request to the doctor. Ask if something wrong with phones to be told there's only two of us.... no excuse for a phone to ring 10 minutes then hang up.
