Lovely practice. The staff have always been really polite, efficient and encouraging. Accessibility/communication is much better than at my previous surgery. I have used the econsult service a few times and they've responded very quickly. They set up my prescriptions on electronic repeat dispensing (batch prescriptions) which makes life a lot easier. I've been able to get appointments for routine blood tests within a week of calling (often next day!) and they offer very early morning / late evening appointments so I've not had to take time off work. They also offer access to notes via the Airmid app. This is much more convenient e.g. I can look at this to see the details of my blood results rather than calling to check if they are normal, which seems like a win win for both parties. I have no concerns about my care here and it is reassuring to feel like they have my back if I need it.

Don't expect much even if they answer the phone. Despite the recorded message assuring appointments for the same day in emergencies, the receptionist will soon tell you there are none and to ring back the next day. It's almost as if you are a nuscience! Update:my last experience was much improved. Phone answered, appointment made within a reasonable timeframe. I have found that once there, the doctors and nurses have been excellent. I speculate that the issues arise with the administration staff?

Been ringing for 19 minutes ,no one answered apart from their recorded message at the beginning, then the phone went dead. I am now trying again to get through to make an appointment for blood tests. It,s not a busy time either at the surgery. I have been with this surgery for almost 38 years and it used to be great. It has sadly gone right downhill these past few years. So far this second phone call is not getting answered and is now 10 minutes,so altogether I have been trying to get through for almost 30 minutes. Totally ridiculous.

I have experienced odd and/or rude behaviour from at least three members of staff on the very few occasions I have been for myself or accompanied family members. It is a real challenge to see a doctor and I suspect it's because the staff at reception are not qualified for triage and cannot make the decision as to whether a patient needs to see a doctor or not. Not very pleasant to be ill and be treated with poor attitude.

Terrible. Went to ask for a prescription that I have been having for 2 years. The woman assured me it would get done. Went to the pharmacy to collect it and one hadn't been done since February!! Now I have to start a new contract away from home and have been left without the important medication. Disgusting. They didn't even call me to discuss if there was going to be a problem with prescribing it - they just didn't issue it.
