I’ve used Joseph Harris twice now and both times the service has been seamless and effective. They were quick to get the properties to market, honest and realistic with price points and they archived good prices for both properties in a difficult market. When a sale fell through on one property they got the property straight back on the market and resold in no time at all. I’m very impressed with this company.

Terrible experience — completely unprofessional and negligent agency. Avoid at all costs. We moved into the property on 5th January 2025 after the agency promised to fix several issues before our move-in date. Despite paying the deposit 20 days in advance, none of the problems were resolved, and throughout our tenancy (until 10th August 2025), nothing was properly repaired. The issues were numerous: Boiler not working properly — it required a 15-minute reset every time, and even then, it only worked for 30 minutes before shutting off again. Living like that throughout the tenancy tenure felt like torture, especially during winter. Slug infestation in the kitchen Broken door locks No wardrobes in one of the bedrooms (property was advertised as fully furnished) Leaking kitchen sink causing water to seep under the carpet Patch of missing carpet, letting in muddy water Broken beds, dirty mattresses, and damaged curtains After months of complaints, the landlord eventually sent someone to “fix” the issues — but this person made everything worse. He broke the door locks while trying to repair them, stood on a table and broke it, and nothing was actually fixed. Shockingly, the agency tried to make us pay for the damage he caused. We sent 10–15 emails during the tenancy (plus one before moving in), and only two were ever answered. Even after vacating and cleaning the property (only forgetting to clean the fridge), our deposit has still not been refunded, despite three follow-up emails over the last three months. This has been the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. The agency is dishonest, unresponsive, and completely unprofessional. I have photos and emails proving every issue, including slugs crawling on the kitchen surfaces, broken locks, and unsafe living conditions. I am now taking legal action to recover my deposit and hold them accountable. Avoid this agency — they do not care about tenants once they have your money.
