Pop Hair Academy

I've been a customer at Pop for many years. Dean always styles and colours my hair to suit me and I trust his judgement. My appointments are long as it involves bleaching and colouring so it's important that it's a comfortable place to be in. You always feel welcome the atmosphere is good. I find it a chill place to be at for a bit of me time while receiving an amazing cut and fresh fun colour. I always feel confident and revived when I walk out of the door after my appointment. I would not go anywhere else!

I travelled all the way from Newcastle only to have them cancel 45 minutes before my appointment, but of course I didn't see the message until I'd parked up. All other appointments for the day went ahead.

I find hair dresser appointments quite overwhelming, but Pop! is different, Dean is so welcoming that any anxiety I had was left at the door. He listened and offered suggestions when I was explaining what I wanted and I left with an amazing style that suited me, and was nicer than anything that I could have imagined. I had such a good experience that I have recommend Pop! to friends who have been looking for a welcoming, open-minded and accommodating hairdressers.

Had my hair cut twice by Holly, lovely and friendly, gave student discount and really knows her stuff. The shop is small and funky and everyone is super friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting more alternative or unique hairstyles/colours

I've been here twice, had a lovely experience each time, once with Holly and once with Dean. They take their time and communicate really well, making sure that I'm happy with everything throughout the appointment. They're also great for a chat! A very professional yet relaxed place to get your hair done.
