A person with a mental health condition can identify as psychic but if over prescribed it can cause memory issues, including amnesia, due to the effects of the drugs on the brain Trauma , anxiety, and depression through evidence-based treatments can provide a safe space to express feelings once again but the msg and the right quantity needs to be monitored also someone like carers and psychiatrists even a family Doctor should observe if the patient deteriorates. I know a few people that need different ways to regain good physical health and undo so many side effects off tablets and injections that are probably not needed ( I got the tea shirt so to speak ! ) Some of the different therapies / alternatives to ineffective medication include a range of mind-body, physical, and natural therapies like yoga, meditation, acupuncture, and aromatherapy, I hope this will help other vulnerable people who have long suffered as I understand your pain your feelings your suffering. I would also like to know if the mental health team understands me after a long mental health scar which is going to end, I do not wish to reverse the conditions but I hope it’s helped them understand the seriousness of mental health I wish them all the very best and to practice what they preach ( Psychiatry )

The level of so called care at this hospital is absolutely disgusting. I was admitted feeling suicidal and trying to end my life. The very next day I had a meeting with the doctors and even though I made it clear the thought was still there they told me to go home and work with the community mental health team. I left the hospital with no offer of any transport to get home which is 40 miles away. I was that wound up I immediately left the hospital and walked to the motorway, stood on the bridge and was about to jump when the police pulled up and stopped me. They took me back to the hospital for me to be told AGAIN that I don't need to be in hospital and they just let me walk out again. If I could give a minus star rating I would. Absolutely disgusting.

I did not have a good experience here so would not recommend it to anyone I know personally especially for mental health being treated unfairly is not right especially when you have not done anything wrong except ask/came for help but there was a manager there i forgot her name she was very kind towards the end asked me what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go I wish I told her I just wanted my own place away from the people I knew for me and my children.

I was hospitalized here for 26 days during my Youth Mobility Visa in May 2021. They do not understand autistic people; when I was there, there were too many different uniforms and cycling staff that it made trying to get any kind of help near impossible. I don't think I saw the same nurse/doctor twice. They over medicated me. They moved me through 3 different wards and did not even properly communicate with their own staff about these changes so when I was brought to my new room, someone else's name was there and it did NOT help my mental confusion. I genuinely thought I was getting trafficked because of how unorganized and unprofessional these nurses and doctors were. I understand that I believe this was part of a teaching program but you do not put students in where professionals need to be there. We are not study projects or test subjects, we are real people with real issues and we need real doctors. Shout out to Toni though who asked me what kind of witch I was and then proceeded to call me cosmic for the rest of my stay like some kind of coven initiation. And to Hannah who gave me her socks when mine were all dirty. I hope you guys are doing okay ♥
