Hats off to the NHS staff. Great people all the way from the people at reception, the nurses the consultant in ENT. Ever so grateful for the NHS - truly the diamond in the crown .
Parking is limited to approx 10 spaces. The nurses are blunt and not helpful in the slightest. A terminal cancer patient asking for help to get off the bed only to be told no use the rope and pull yourself up. If I had my way that nurse would be sacked on the spot.
Absolutely everything about this Hospital is exceptional. I visited while on holiday in the children's emergency department and the staff were so lovely and incredible. The receptionist registering her was just lovely and chatty while putting all our details on the system, the triage nurse was amazing, the nurses were just so caring to my little one. The wait was long which is expected but my little one was seen with such professionalism and care by all. The hospital location is great, it's super modern and extremely clean. We had to visit the pharmacy the next day and the lady who served us again, so lovely and chatty and just really wonderful. Northerners are the best people (makes me miss home so much :) Well done James Cook University Hospital - you have it spot on !!
