Absolute genius. We bought a broken lock top box without a key on eBay to try to save money for our holiday camping trip. The guys here took the existing lock and cut us a key. Customer service was off the charts, and they only charged us a fraction of what I was dreading... Thanks, It made my impulse purchase worthwhile.
Needed to be called out several times for job but sorted eventually. Workmanship is fine but admin staff have no manners at all. Failed to send invoices and then threaten with legal proceedings. No common sense approach to running a business. We persevered for months with the firm due to proximity but they have now lost a customer with 6 sites due to complete lack of customer service skills. Avoid!!!
We had a broken front door. It jammed shut but unlocked. The team came out quickly and found a part had broken in the lock and needed to change it. All done within one day and now door works better than it has in years. The team realigned door and showed me how to change things if needed. Everything was organised by WhatsApp and I was invoiced and paid by bank transfer.
Needed a couple of tricky to find cylinder keys. A quick email with a picture of the key, a code and Appleyard was happy to assist. Keys arrived promptly and worked fine.
Great customer service, as always! Love their new location
