Cohens Chemist, North Ormesby Health Village, Middlesbrough

Went to North Ormesby to collect a one off prescription from the GP near by. I was asked if I wanted to change them to my preferred chemist, told them no as I get my regular prescriptions delivered. Few days later and they have changed me to them (found this out when I was trying to order a repeat). Not sure if they are on commission to change but when told no you should respect that!

You couldn't find another chemist as helpful as this one. I wanted to collect my sons prescription, but it hadn't been sent over. They told me what to do and gave me their phone number so I could check it was there before setting off to collect it. What lovely staff always have time to talk to you. Always clean and lots of seats to use if you have to wait for your prescription.

Lovely staff and pharmacist is so helpful

The pharmacist was helpful previously but struggled to pick up medication recently, saturday staff never answer the phone and the opening times are wrong online. Arrived at 5 to 6 on Monday when it says it shuts at 18:15 they were turning the lights out and leaving. Even if it shuts at 6, the staff should shut at 6 on the dot not have already shut up shop at 5 to, I appreciate it maybe frustrating for staff people turning up at 5 to 6 (even though says until quarter past online) but for people who work until evening this is the only time we can get there.

Place is filthy floors and sides don't look like they've ever been cleaned. Box's of prescription piled high and everywhere. Consultation room filled with box's of stock. Staff are rude and inconsiderate. Took them 45 minutes to sort out my prescription. And they had at least 8 staff members and no customers. Just stood about chatting.
