I’ve been a regular customer since this shop opened , back when it was a londis (much better in my opinion ) over the years any minor issues I came across were easily resolved , staff were always happy to help . There has been a number of staff turnover , which I assume are the shop managers but it’s never effected the service I get , but the latest change has had quite a negative impact on the shop. I find the latest manager ride and unhelpful . A number of times theee he been a queue and the lone cashier is having to ring the bell for multiple times before any help appears , I’ve been served a few times by said manager and twice he’s been having a conversation on his phone whilst serving at the till. A customer in front of me a few weeks ago had an issue with a phone top up and the manager spoke to him very rudely and wasn’t I tested in resolving the matter, none of the previous staff have been like this , I’ve always enjoyed the customer and staff relationships until now . Pay point is an issue In This store , the only person who doesn’t seem to say it’s broken is the female cashier, so I tend to go in for bills when I know she will be there as I know my bills be paid .

The prices are way too higher. And the most important is that most of the things that you will buy will left with 2/3 days of expiry.

This morning (2.2.19) I bought 1 lemon. The price on the shelf was £0.45 at the till I found out it's actually £.0.55. When I mentioned to the man behind the counter there is different price he said "They were meant to change it and the price is 55p not what on the shelf". I was speechless, paid and left. This is not how it works. What a price is displayed I should pay! I know it's only 10p but that's not the point. I would highly recommend to anyone to check the prices when you are buying there!!!😡😡😡

Few issues could be ironed out in this store The main one being with some staff Members there is a real language barrier and one struggles to understand a simple request of 6 lucky dips on the Euro millions and another staff member had to step in and serve me whilst she was also busy serving on another till not in any means a racist comment but the customer needs to be understood Also if I’m on work clothing I’ve noticed presumably the manager follows me around the shop which can be intimidating and off putting Also the floor is like a sheet of ice and I can see someone being injured one day

Essential groceries, fish, chicken, meat, fruit, veggies are available. Crisps, chocolates are also in wide range. Got peanut fry, mixture, banana chips, daal crisps at a very cheap rate.
