Great store has a lot of stuff other stores don't stock like craft bits and car spares, tools, fishing gear, painting and decorating stuff, some electrical homewares and sockets, plugs, fuses. Really a great selection of things in this shop. A proper old skool shop where you can buy things to repair existing items rather than buying new so great for the environment, a lot of what this store sells Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's don't have!! You'd have to go online these days to find some of these stuff which is sad and why our great highstreets are being ruined. Boyes is a great example of a homewares store and one of the first places I head if I need to repair things at home or with the car.

Bad experience ever. Bought a pedestial fan ( company name :fine elements ). Which is so loud but blows no adequate wind. No cooling at all. Plastic blades. Very cheap product. When gone for refund, staff not issued the refund.very poor and cheap . Dont waste your money buying this thing. My bad. Got a new piece of garbage. The shop is not customer friendly.

Handy place to drop into for those little household items you often need more so since it's recently relocated to its new premises recently vacated by argos who are now to be found much deminished in size over the road in sainsburies. On the face of it boyes looks like only pot's and pans but it stocks everything from car and hardware products to clothes at reasonable prices. It's worth bearing in mind when out shopping.

every time i’ve been in this shop i’ve had an awful experience with the staff, the older lady with blonde hair who works behind the till has been rather rude and abrupt with me every time i’ve went in.

Absolute belter of a place, no matter what I need any time or any day, boyes is 78% guaranteed to sell it. only downfall would be the confusion one way system during the covid pandemic however this was quickly maneuvered and products found. 10/10 5 stars big up boyes xoxo
