Great store has a lot of stuff other stores don't stock like craft bits and car spares, tools, fishing gear, painting and decorating stuff, some electrical homewares and sockets, plugs, fuses. Really a great selection of things in this shop. A proper old skool shop where you can buy things to repair existing items rather than buying new so great for the environment, a lot of what this store sells Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's don't have!! You'd have to go online these days to find some of these stuff which is sad and why our great highstreets are being ruined. Boyes is a great example of a homewares store and one of the first places I head if I need to repair things at home or with the car.

Bad experience ever. Bought a pedestial fan ( company name :fine elements ). Which is so loud but blows no adequate wind. No cooling at all. Plastic blades. Very cheap product. When gone for refund, staff not issued the refund.very poor and cheap . Dont waste your money buying this thing. My bad. Got a new piece of garbage. The shop is not customer friendly.

Boyes Staff is so judgemental and security guy was polite and he was forced by the staff to follow us and boyes staff seemed so rude and running out of fish tackle equipment and been told not to check the reel boxes or open the box which is already opened .

Today I got served by Louise and would like to say what a very charming and polite young lady she is. She went above and beyond to help finding what I was looking for. She is a credit to the company😁😁😁

Not very happy with the experience my mam had today with a memeber of staff that deals with net curtains very abrupt & rude, had sighed when my mam had asked question about measurements Not very positive customer service from the lady with dark brunette hair
