HS Interiors

Had a new bathroom installed in March 2025 and delighted with process from start to finish. The discussions over the design and graphics were instrumental in us settling on what we wanted and how it would look. They knew their products and what would or wouldn’t work. A very comprehensive written quote was provided. At first inspection the labour charge, especially when compared with fixtures and fittings, seemed high. We decided to go with it as they were excellent when they installed our kitchen 14 years ago. When we had our bathroom installed 14 years ago by another company they kept adding costs after the installation started. Not the case this time. During installation they discovered one wall had the original plaster plus 3 layers of wall tile and a layer of plasterboard. It was all taken back to the block work. Another wall had plaster, mosaic tiles and plaster skim! All walls were therefore taken back to studs. No extra costs. The standard of work was excellent throughout and for a change it was a pleasure to have two workmen in the house who you had confidence in. Both very conscientious workers. Nothing too much trouble for them.

We have just had our bathroom completed by HS interiors and were very pleased with both the service from start to finish and the result. Patrycja, the designer, had absolutely the right balance between listening to what you wanted and suggesting things you might not have thought of. All the trades people were 100% conscientious with exceptional attention to detail, not wanting to leave any small part of the job until they were satisfied with the quality of the product and their work. A project manager also talks to you every day to keep you up to date with what’s going on and to deal with any snags. We would thoroughly recommend HS interiors. The two last pictures show the bathroom before refurbishment.

Unfortunately, we can not recommend HS Interiors to others. We had a very good experience in the showroom/planning/choosing sanitary ware, tiles, mirrors etc. This aspect of the service was highly professional and we proceeded with confidence. However, our experience when the job started was very disappointing. Whilst some technicians were very good, some did not respect our home leading to some damage and, on one occasion, our home was left unsecured whilst we were away for a few days. Our biggest issue was towards the end of the installation when we were advised that the shower we had chosen could not be fitted due to issues identified at that late stage with the existing pump. The solution offered was another shower pump/hardware that resulted in really poor flow. We were cross when we were advised that the existing plumbing had not been assessed at the time of planning the job and raised this with the project manager whose manner was extremely unprofessional, rude and highly problematic. Her colleague provided a better service but the issue remained unresolved for a number of weeks until a more appropriate pump was fitted/some pipe work rectified. It was disappointing that we could not find a complaints procedure for customers of HS Interiors and were advised that we could not escalate our complaint directly to Paul Faulkner, the owner. We could only write an email to a member of staff who would pass it on to him. Whilst we recognise others have had a very positive experience with HS Interiors, we felt that we should post a review that reflected our experience, perhaps in the hope that their service will improve.

Excellent service. I wanted a matching door handle for some I bought three years ago. Staff found my previous purchase in order to get the correct one. I find that exceptionally good service.

Thank you HS Interiors for your excellent service which started with Patrycja who did a great design. Ian the main tradesman was superb and worked extremely hard to complete the job alongside his fellow team members. The house was kept tidy throughout and we opted to be away during the installation but were kept up to date my our project manager. The bathroom quality was superb and the finish amazing. We bought our fittings in the Winter sales and it was finished ahead of schedule would highly recommend the whole team.
