I really enjoy training at JRD Fitness. The small-group sessions are well run, and Jason does a great job of giving everyone attention without making things feel intense or intimidating. He explains movements clearly and offers simple adjustments when needed, which makes the sessions feel accessible no matter your fitness level. The workouts are varied and challenging in a manageable way. The small-group atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, and it’s easy to feel comfortable. I’ve improved in both fitness and strength since starting, and I genuinely look forward to the sessions. If you’re after friendly, well-structured small-group PT, JRD Fitness is definitely worth trying.
I’ve been going to JRD for a year now and it’s been fabulous. The coaches are lovely — really supportive, always helping you learn new things, get stronger, and smash your goals. The whole place has such a friendly vibe, it actually makes working out fun. I’ve always been a bit scared of gyms, but I genuinely enjoy going here now!
I can strongly recommend this gym. Jason and female couches are very professional and passionate about the service they deliver. They are warm and welcoming to each individual. The gym has a strong , friendly, community vibe . I have certain health impediments but Jason ensures that the sessions are suited to me as an individual. As a result, I am stronger and fitter. This has boosted my self confidence They also play great music which is an excellent motivator 😊
I joined JRD 1 year ago because I wanted to get back into strength training and I happened to win one of their competitions, getting 3 months free. 'Amazing, it gets me back in good workout habits, and then maybe I'll train elsewhere' I thought... However, after my first 3 months, I'd lost a stone, toned up, felt stronger and more energised, and most importantly, it improved my mental health in the dark winter months - how could I leave after it made such an improvement to my life. I train before work, it sets me up mentally for the day ahead and I have the rest of the day to do what I like. Jason and Becki are great coaches, friendly, welcoming, encouraging and understanding. This really is a gym for everyone and anyone!
I’ve always felt a bit awkward in gyms, but from day one here I’ve felt genuinely welcomed. The sessions are always great — challenging in the right way and tailored to what I need. I actually know what I’m doing now, which has made a huge difference to my confidence and progress. The personalised weekly nutrition check ins have also been a massive help. Everything feels really supportive and focused on my goals. Highly recommend!
