For 30 years, I have been meaning to find the grave of Moses Carpenter, the Mohawk Indian in the graveyard. Back in the days of Blaises Rock Night on the way home, one of my mates would always stagger off to share a drink with Moses. This shows the real Middlesbrough, with nearly 150 years since his passing, gifts are still laid at his grave. We collected and saved several large feathers on our walks and travels to lay on the grave.
