A variety of new trees have been planted, complementing the existing mature trees from the site's previous incarnation. The revitalised Marton West Beck flows through the park, home to water crowfoot, which adds a unique touch with its white and yellow blooms. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls, observe local flora, and simply relax in this carefully cultivated natural setting.

James Cook Park welcomes visitors 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering continuous access to its natural beauty. The park features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, ensuring that it can be enjoyed by a wide range of visitors. Payment is not required for entry.
