Nice grassed Park area. It's a shame that people are too lazy to put litter into the bins supplied at the entrances. Unfortunately some dog owners are also not picking up the deposits left by their pets. However much kudos to the council, as the grass is regularly mowed and bins emptied. Despite the problems mentioned it is a pleasant area to walk the dog or just contemplate life.
Beautiful space and serene environment unfortunately not well utilised. Beautiful functioning workout equipment in place for grown ups but absolutely no play equipment for kids are in function, please can slides be introduced? can the swings be fixed for kids. Most importantly, twice my daughter and I have been attacked by dogs let loosed by owners with same story I’m sorry it doesn’t normally bite CAN THIS STOP 🛑 !. can dog walkers be mandated to use the dog leads and Leashes when in public spaces ?? since this is the purpose for which it’s manufactured and made available to purchase. Otherwise should we start going to playgrounds with catapult and stones to defend ourselves from these dogs. Dogs are cute until you get attacked by them. Not everyone is ok with dogs.
You can do a workout as you walk round as there are a few gym equipment's on site.
Great for the dog to run around and so conveniently close to home. However, not a great play park for kids.. it's constantly ruined by the 'big kids'!
