It is a very British Pub decorated in the typical english way...with some pictures on the walls and different objects hanging. Many colors and great variety of beer. Little menu for food...the place is designed for drinks basically.Full of funny people. Good for relaxation and making friends or maintain easy conversations.
Lovely old pub, stopped for Sunday lunch after a walk. The staff, food and beer were all spot on
Lovely atmosphere, friendly, welcoming staff. Good selection of wines, spirits & beers. Pie nights and Thai nights, always good food. Tuesday quiz night and Wednesday open Mike night, not to be missed.
Had a very nice Sunday lunch here on Sunday 25th June with our family, 5 adults and 2 children. First class food as was the service. The pool room was made available for us and they made us most welcome. Roast dinners were delicious and served on piping hot plates with lashings of home made gravy and their home made deserts were also very good. All ln all very good and we hope to visit again.
Sunday.lunch was very good, great value. They do pork pies behind the bar.
