Lovely nature spot plenty of walks to let the kids and dog burn off engery. Very picturesque place.
Beautiful, peaceful, woodland stroll, with lots of birdsong. We decided to visit to see the spring Bluebells. Unfortunately they were few and far between. The wild garlic was most prolific, but was not in flower yet. In saying all that, the wood was a fantastic scene of nature. Will be back to absorb more of this reserve.
Wonderful woodlands, preserved and managed ash woodland. Mass of wild flowers and carpeted with bluebells. The clearing of the pine trees has opened up the canopy and over time this will massively improve the area.
Great place in nature for walking the dog or just listening to the birds
Beautiful walk with good parking and picnic benches available. It can get a bit wet in parts after heavy rain. It's beautiful in the spring and when the wild garlic is in flower
