I’ve been to Al Nawab and had their takeaways for a massive portion of my life now and honestly I couldn’t love them more! And the staff are lovely! It’s always a good day when you have an Al Nawab

Been here a few times and the food has always been yummy. I just wanted a bit more of a cheerful service. I felt like they didnt want to be there. Everyone looked sad. We even left a tip (more so for the food) and we werent thanked or smiled at as we left.

***Update. Still the best curry ive ever eaten ***** went in and said i want a sweet king prawn curry, that I can eat with a naan. He said have this, and you don't need a naan it comes with chapati. He sorted it out. No questions asked. Top service. And I got a free bee. Only round the corner and prices are good

Visited for the first time after local recommendations. It was pretty disappointing The mains were decent, we had two curries But it was the service that was off putting, it took about 20 minutes for even a drink order to be taken ( we didn’t realise they weren’t licensed so this could be clearer), then when we got our starters the staff came over whilst we were still eating to ask if we were ready for the mains. The mains then came and my order was wrong, they did rectify this pretty quickly which I appreciate. The cutlery was dirty and the napkins had marks on them. It did seem the staff only catered for people who were clearly regulars. I don’t think we’ll be returning which is such a shame.
