First time at LAB and travelled from barnsley to try their food. It did not disappoint!!! we had the BBC loaded fries, mac n cheese, buttermilk fried chicken strips and way too many of the 50p wings! Everything was amazing we will definitely be back! Great service and a lovely, chill atmosphere. Would HIGHLY recommend!!
Food is delicious. Tried a few of the burgers and they’ve all been great. This place is just let down by the fact they always seem to be running late. Always order ahead and food is never ready on time. Had to wait 20 minutes beyond my pick up time even after ordering 3 hours in advance.
What a hidden gem this place is! Took my partner for Father’s Day and had the Sunday dinner menu and honestly it was absolutely fantastic. The service was fast and friendly, the place itself (although quite small and cosy) had a great aesthetic (and great music) and the food was divine. Kids portions are a really decent size as are adults and everything on the menu (including desserts) was amazing and great value for money. Will definitely be back! Notable mention for the sirloin roast, was cooked to perfection! And the pork crackling was 10/10 with the pork melting in your mouth.
The porker burger was amazing 10/10. The staff were lovely, polite friendly and attentive. The vibe and atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. Dress was casual. We enjoyed being here and didnt feel rushed at all. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
A lucky and lovely discovery, the burger was excellent, loved the chips that came with it, nicely seasoned, also I lucked in as they serve chicken wings only on a Thursday but because of the footie they did it for Sundays match so I tried all 5 wing flavours @ 50p a wing an absolute delight, full bill came making me wonder if they'd forgotten to put something on the bill, great food, lovely decor, gorgeous outside seating area with perfect weather 11/10
