Absolutely fantastic from the warm welcome has we arrived. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. The food was of high quality, the quantities were perfect. Freshly cooked and piping hot. Value for money was perfect. Definitely a place to visit over and over again.
We called here on Saturday for dinner 2 starters and 2 mains (1 x lasagna and 1 x mix grill). All the staff here are very friendly and polite. The food was amazing and the price is nice too. The menu as lots to choose from so we will be going back, I should also say that the lager is spot on and cheaper than a few other local pubs. We would recommend anyone to give this a try. I can say in the past we stopped going in this pub because it was very clicky and the staff didn't seem to want to serve you, it's now the total opposite, it's a very nice pub with very friendly staff.
First time returning to the pear tree today after the ownership change The pub looked brilliant from the outside and the inside was Amazing too Staff where very welcoming Nice music playing We had the lunch menu with a drink included was lovely can’t fault anything Well done to the new team! Can’t wait for summer!!
This place is great. I came here with my family for my 18th birthday yesterday and it was really nice. The food was really tasty and everyone loved it and the staff were so polite. The price for the meals weren’t bad either. There were 6 of us and we spent £63 on the food so really reasonable for what we got. The only thing I would say is that there could of just been a few more chips on the plates it was a little small portioning but it wasn't an issue because it was really nice. Atmosphere was great. It wasn't too busy and we were in the dining room with a great view or the river so that made it even better. What a lovely decorated pub. Overall we will be coming back very soon because of the overall lovely experience from the staff and food.
Me and partner have visited the pear tree a couple of times now over the last week or so and have been blown away by the amazing service and delicious food. Greeted with smiles and friendly chat each time. The food has been delicious and not too expensive. Sarah especially has been really attentive but all the staff really are lovely. We look forward to visiting again!
