Best fish in a long time, I opted for the special- it didn’t disappoint. Batter was perfect- thin and crispy. Condiments at the ready and the staff were wicked too- good chat exchanged holiday stories- a good laugh and a great meal to be had don’t miss out!
When in and got fish and chips wasn't disappointed once I got home. The women behind the counter spoke to me while the fish and chips were cooking thought it was nice instead of just standing and watching place was clean and nice looking.

A busy Saturday lunchtime before New Year’s Eve and the hard working team at Mirfield fisheries gave me and a family of six the best fish and chips we had had in years. Well worth the train trip back home to West Yorkshire from London in itself! The special was sensational - highly recommended. The best in town.
