Disappointed, menu online does not reflect actual prices, basically when you get to the shop prices have increased 50%!! Bought salt and pepper spare ribs, not to sure what they but there were no ribs involved just some kind of chewy, fatty 'something' in flavourless batter (pictured). My search for a decent Chinese takeaway continues...
Absolute disgrace. Inedible take away.90% in the bin. Avoid like the plague. Cash only......I wonder why?
Good service and ok atmosphere. The food was disappointing this time around. The salt and pepper chips were bland and tasteless like no flavour at all. Wanted an O.K dish but was more sweet and sour than anything. Didn’t enjoy this time unfortunately
Staff always so friendly and it is only topped by the amazing quality food. Genuinely look forward to every Friday for a cheeky Sage takeaway! Definitely would recommend.
The biggest issue with Sage is that it’s cash only. It’s not a big enough issue to keep us away, but in 2022 it’s an odd thing to do I think. The food is good quality always. The service when collecting is usually good, but often you should expect to wait longer than you were told when placing your order. Parking isn’t great outside (park on the road or if they’re very quiet there’s usually a parking bay right outside), but I’ve never failed to be able to park somewhere.
