Ive known this park all my life..used to play here as a kid, spent hours climbing trees...its very different now from the huge slide and massive swings with concrete bases..but still a fun place to play, i go with my daughter who loves the zip wire and tyre swing..we watch the bigger kids in the skateboard area, there's also a basketball court. Still LOADS of open space for running/walking/exercising. Fairly well maintained as far as parks go.

Big open space in Mirfield. We called to go to the skate park, not knowing if it was any good. Turns out it was quite good. Playground was also nice, big open field for the kids to play.

A few kids swings slide etc in a fenced off area of what is essentially a large field. Council have planted new trees along the roadside which will enhance the area as they grow. Could use a bin or two to encourage people to clean up after their pets and for the ubiquitous plastic bottles.

Nice big ground. Things to do for small and bigger kids. Playground, skateboard facilities and fenced off court. Lots of space for dog walking. Can get very muddy/marshy after rainfall.
