Love taking the kids for walks up here plus there's a park with a zip line at the bottom.
The reservoir looks great, although the gates are locked and you can't walk round, though there was definitely a desire path round the res! The plantation behind the reservoir is great to walk round, though a bit boggy in places! There's also a kids park in front of the reservoir. A loop on public footpaths around the outskirts of the res is about 1 mile and involves a bit of an incline and decline. We also walked along public footpaths through farmland around this area giving us a decent view of the res from above.
Always walk the dog here, been canoeing a couple of times too.
It's ok, could do with being a lot cleaner, lots of dog fouling around and not the easiest to access
Lovely place good walks.
