Great multipurpose community facility. Accessible parking close to the entrance, but not clearly marked. There is a hall, the size of a tennis court, that has a stage area beyond the floor space, a small bar, and a few rooms for other activities. Clubs use the space a lot, for example, karate and chess, and dance. There are sometimes craft markets on a weekend. And when it comes to that all important vote, you will cast it here if you live locally. Attached are the sport facilities to include a football/rugby pitch and tennis courts. It has a very active committee that should be commended for thier hard work and dedication. It is a great, and well used asset for the community.
We went to a craft fair, very friendly with a nice selection of stalls with a range of crafted gifts. A nice cake stall, Indian snacks etc. worth a visit.
Basic amenities, tired building which means it looks a bit grotty. Ideal for local groups or clubs to hold an event, but perhaps needs work before holding something such as a wedding.
great place to meet and have a drink. friendly bar staff and good facilities. great tennis set up.
Great venue, friendly bar staff and a really nice outside seating area for a sunny afternoon.
