Terrible place would not recommend coming here the people I’ve interacted with here are extremely rude this includes the people that manage the place and the care taker. The care taker (Keith) has no manners at all such a rude individual he decides to close up whenever he feels like it and in a horrible way tells you to leave. no manners at all. Considering the fact that his only job is to look after the place he doesn’t even do a good job at that. Never getting a membership at this place again. Considering the fact this is a social centre and no one technically owns it they act like they can do what they want and own the place absolutely awful.
Went here for a 60th birthday party first time here as well very large function room to the left as you go in through the main entrance. We had an excellent night good food which I think was supplied by an outside catering company there is a bar area which is very small for the size of the place but it is functional and you didn't have to queue very long all in all very nice place
Do not waste your time. The caretaker picks and chooses what times to close, just to avoid having to lock up late. It's hard for NHS staff like myself to enjoy the club. I do not appreciate paying for something that I am not allowed to use. I guess this is why everyone refers to this as a dying club.
Attended for a diabetes help group meeting. Good venue with good facilities and parking.
Excellent service and facilities. we held my mothers wake there and they could not have been more helpful or polite. very clean and tidy and woyld recommend for any small function as they easily cater for 50+ people
