I’ve ordered from here a few times and the service has always been good until this morning when I ordered the children sandwiches and myself beans on toast. As my son went in the shop to collect the man in there straight away moaned “I told you 10.30 you can wait and I will make when I’ve done my other orders” huffing and puffing, it was 10.20 May I add then he decides at 10.35 to start making the food. When we get home the sandwiches are good may I add but the beans on toast with spam and mushrooms was inedible. The toast isn’t toasted and why they felt the need to cut the toast into bite sizes is beyond me. £6 for some soggy bread and beans! X

Very disappointing experience. The woman owner was extremely rude and disrespectful. The food was served cold, and when we politely mentioned it, her response was simply: “That’s how it is.” When we complained about the attitude, she told us to take our money and leave. She even threw the money back at us in a very insulting manner. This kind of behavior towards customers is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of basic customer service. I have honestly never experienced such rudeness before. I do not recommend this café at all. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

What a lovely little cafe!! I first visited a couple of months ago and had some absolutely wonderful cream buttery homemade Biscoff cheescake....after dreaming about it I finally had the chance to go back yesterday. I wondered if I'd feel the same....I most certainly did!! Best coffee, (mine was a flat white)☕️ I've had in a cafe for years!! I can sometimes feel a little uncomfortable when dining out but this place gave me a very welcoming feel...The girls are so sweet and friendly. What I do like is that they don't play loud music here like some cafes do...its relaxing and pleasant to enable you to have a quiet chat with friends and family or a "working" lunch. The first time I went my friend had a salad 🥗 and said it was delicious 😋 I opted for a snack of Houmous and toasted pitta to dip with mmmm Looking forward to the weather improving to try out their very adequate outdoor eating area...covered too for our British weather!!

This is a great, family owned local cafè with delicious menu options and fantastic kind, friendly and efficient service. The atmosphere is lovely, with the choice to eat indoors or outside. The food is outstanding and, though expensive, the portion sizes are good and the taste is amazing. I was very glad we visited and I will certainly be going back again. A not-so-secret gem practically opposite the village green. Loved it!

I have popped into Cafe Espresso to get a drink a few times now. It’s a lovely neighbourhood cafe with plenty of seating inside and out. The iced latte is delicious and the service is always efficient and friendly! The drinks menu has a great selection and they even do milkshakes etc. I’m looking forward to trying their food soon 😙
