Great atmosphere let down by poor offering sadly, cheapest ingredients served on absolutely awful bread more likely to be found in a roadside burger van. Coffee is good but sausages and bacon belong in the bin. Great staff who cope well as it’s busy always smiling and helpful. Sausage sandwich two small cheap sausages … appalling Sausage and egg sandwich … grim Spam and tomato sandwich … ok ish Turkey and stuffing sandwich … tasteless generic turkey dry unappealing stuffing … give it a miss !

Nice little cafe doing a decent breakfast! We went there before I had an appointment and was pleasantly surprised. The girls serving were very friendly and professional, the cafe was clean and tidy and tge quality of both breakfasts exceeded expectations. I would not hesitate to visit again or recommend them. You asked what could have been done better: Definitely more availability of sauces i.e. HP Sauce.... it was a bit strange tasting and we had to get from another table. Thanks.

Excellent place to have coffee and breakfast. Nice little place run by very friendly staff. Food was fresh and tasty. Very reasonable price. Good variety of food. The only annoying thing was the dangling bell on the door which kept ringing whenever someone will open the door if waking in or out. As the place is busy, the bell kept ringing 😂. Other than that the place is amazing.

Lovely place, great atmosphere, staff are so lovely & food was utterly delicious. My partner and I took her elderly father for breakfast & spent the whole time looking out the windows & saying how nice the food was.

In response to another review slating the quality of Country Crust, it’s important to say that the prices at this place are literally half the prices for breakfast food in Chapel Allerton, half a mile away. It’s not a luxury / premium / fancy brunch place, it’s more akin to a traditional greasy spoon (although better). Both types of cafe have their place, and are priced accordingly. If you want a solid traditional full English breakfast, that will leave you full, at a very good price, go to Country Crust. If you want one slice of sourdough toast with poached eggs / salmon / avocado, and to leave hungry, then go spend twice as much for the privilege somewhere in Chapel Allerton!
