A cosy cafe in north Leeds. Plenty of outdoor seating, less so indoors, but I still managed to find a space to sit and enjoy my coffee! I did not get anything to eat but they have a good selection of savoury and sweet pastries. WiFi available - a good ace for remote working.
Really enjoyed my stop at RAND Coffee Roastery! The coffee was excellent — rich, smooth, and full of flavour, exactly how a good espresso should be. The atmosphere is relaxed with a nice outdoor spot to sit and watch the world go by. Staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Definitely one of the best places around for a quality coffee, I’ll be coming back!
Probably the best coffee in Leeds. The place itself could do with a bit of a refresh and a proper clean, but it kind of works with the rustic vibe, so it’s not a big deal. It’s actually pretty cool seeing the old-school roaster in use and knowing the beans are roasted fresh. One slightly awkward moment: the owner once picked up my drink from the counter, took photos of it, drank it, and told the staff to make another one - without saying a word to me. I was just stood there waiting longer for my coffee while this happened 😂 Bit RUDE, to be honest. That said, the coffee is excellent.
Food looked lovely, we went first thing in the morning so it was quite quiet. A really amazing hot chocolate and the flat white was great too.
Absolutely brilliant independent coffee shop! Wide range of coffee and other drinks. Food available too. The coffee is roasted on site and we were lucky enough to see this in action and meet Aydin the owner who was roasting! We spent time chatting to him and learning about coffee ~ stuff we hadn’t a clue about before. It was so interesting. Aydin’s passion for coffee was truly amazing and the shop is a real credit to him. We had flat whites which were fantastic. It was nice to sit outside and watch the world go by whilst drinking wonderful coffee, prepared with love ❤️
