Mother's 85th birthday and as she cannot leave her flat, we put our trust in Da Baga to give a wow factor birthday takeout. Sunday lunchtime. And wow did it deliver and more. Punjabi sizzler for 2. Da Baga grand sizzler for 2. And a small side spinach and potato dish. Massive succulent lamb chops. Paneer. Cauliflower. Seekh kebab. Wings. Chicken tikka. Superb sauces. It was absolutely fresh, plentiful and spectacular. Marvin looked after us whilst we waited. Lovely guy. First time we have been inside here and vowed to come back. Its beautiful. 15% off for takeout. I could go on but thank u Da Baga :-)
Amazing restaurant! The food was full of authentic flavors and perfectly spiced. We tried several dishes, and every single one was fresh, rich, and delicious. The naan was soft and warm, and the curries were creamy and well-balanced. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Portions were generous and prices very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving great Indian food. We’ll definitely be coming back!
I’ve visited De baga before and have always enjoyed the food, but I recently heard they had started serving keema, which is one of my favorite dishes, so I was keen to try it. The keema definitely lived up to expectations, with well-balanced spices and a rich, satisfying flavor, making it a great addition to an already strong menu. The atmosphere was excellent, with a really welcoming and relaxed vibe. The staff were attentive and genuinely friendly throughout the visit, and the owner taking the time to come over for a chat added a personal touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. The food and service never disappoints at De Baga! Incredible flavours, well cooked food and great value for money. The ambience is also very classy. We recently went on a Wednesday which was a bit quiet but it's usually a bit more lively on the weekend (same as most of the places in chapel Allerton!) We will definitely be back and we urge others to give this place a try!
