Ordered from here a few times previously and had no issues. Unfortunately this time the curry tasted off. Had one mouthful and called to say the 2 curries we had received didn't taste right at all. The lady was rude to my wife on the phone and then proceeded to tell us we had to bring the food back for a refund. I have never in my life had to this but equally the food was that bad that we had no choice. Didn't want to reorder as the food would have been the same. An all round terrible experience from food quality to service level. Will not be eating from here ever again.

Disappointed. I have ordered from Moortown Tandoori lots of times via Deliveroo and directly. Have always enjoyed the food. I usually order a lamb achari and ask the restaurant to replace with paneer achari as this isn't on the menu. There have been a couple of occasions where I've received lamb so I always call now to confirm they've had the note. I called this evening after placing my order and realised whilst on the phone that the order wasn't yet accepted - so there was some confusion. When trying to explain this, the person I was speaking to just bluntly told me to re-order and then put the phone down on me. It felt extremely rude. I have cancelled my order now and will be going elsewhere.

Ordered from here for the first time and was really disappointed. Don't know if they ignored my request in the comments box on purpose but it was definitely not what I ordered. Wrost is the food isn't even authentic as they brag about it. Slightly Overpriced as well. Definitely not for me, probably suits orhers.

Ordered a takeaway and it was awful. The onion bahjis were flat and rock hard and the curry were full of oil and tasteless. When I rang to complain the answer I got was " that's how we make it" Will never order from them again

We have loved the food every time we’ve ordered a takeaway from the Moortown Tandoori. The people there have always been really friendly. We wouldn’t go anywhere else now! Would highly recommend the chicken Nawabi and onion bhajis (they’re huge!).
