Bygone Classics

We hired a Mini from Bygone Classics for our wedding and it was one of the highlights of our day for us and our guests. Our venue (White Syke Fields) allowed us to drive it inside to make our grand entrance as husband and wife and it was such an iconic moment our guests are still talking about it! The car is absolutely stunning and fit in perfectly with our colour scheme (a bonus!) and everyone couldn’t wait to get photos with it and in it. The booking process was seamless as was pick up/drop off and all communication we had with Ilana and Dave. My daughters gave me free rein to book any classic car for my 60th birthday and I'm so pleased that I found Bygone Classics. I hired their Mini Cooper S and could not be more pleased with my choice. All the arrangements for the booking were straightforward and there were no hidden extras that you sometimes find with hire experiences. David and Ilana were easy to deal with and helped make this a wonderful day. As part of the hire we were given some great driving routes in The Dales and we had a wonderful day.

My dad recently turned 70, and to celebrate, we hired an E-type Jaguar. He was completely shocked when he saw the car and fulfilled a lifelong dream of driving one! The driving experience was really exciting and felt like real driving, my dad had an amazing time behind the wheel. It’s genuinely been his best birthday ever and an experience he’ll never forget. David and Ilana were both brilliant too, so a huge thank you to them both! Couldn’t recommend them enough :)

My Jensen experience began when Ilana and Steve arrived at my hotel and handed over the vehicle having checked that all,was OK. The level of service and friendliness from Bygone classics was exceptional and prepared me for what was going to be the perfect day out. The Jensen Interceptor created admiring looks from pedestrians and fellow drivers, the most wonderful design and one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven. The roar of the engine and its handling made the drive through the Yorkshire Dales truly exceptional. Driving the Jensen Interceptor made my dreams come true. Here's to the next time.

My husband and I hired the 1964 red Mustang convertible for our son-in-law’s birthday. When the car arrived, he was stunned speechless and thought it was a joke. We had two days of bliss motoring through the North Yorkshire Dales National Park.
