The Avenue Clinic Leeds

I was referred to The Avenue Clinic through the NHS for transabdominal and transvaginal scans. The two sonographers who I met with yesterday and who conducted the scans were absolutely amazing. They were both friendly, professional, reassuring and understanding and I immediately felt at ease. I was asked questions, I was told what would happen and kept informed throughout. The clinic itself was well-kept, quiet and modern, the receptionist was welcoming and I didn't have to wait long as I was seen straight away. I arrived at the clinic completely nervous but thanks to the lovely staff there, it was a stress-free and reassuring experience. I felt like I got the help that I needed and I couldn't recommend them more. 😊

I was sent from NHS for an ultrasound scan. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly . The ultrasound procedure went well they were very gentle , calm and professional.

My partner went in for a pelvic scan which she was quite anxious about. When she was called in we both stood up to go in and the woman said to me I only want the patient no one else in a rude manner, so she went in on her own. I went up to reception to ask if I would be able to go in with her to the second part of the exam. They said that was fine and rang through to the room and said they’d need to confirm this with my partner to make sure that’s what she wanted (the man on reception was very polite). When my partner returned for the second part of the exam they had already locked the door before asking her and then forced her to say no she didn’t need me in there. The woman said to her ‘we don’t do that around here’. The woman was rude to me and as my partner was already anxious (as she’d never had anything like this done before) it made her more uncomfortable. She wouldn’t return.
