Asda Roundhay Express Petrol

I popped into the store this Sunday morning 23/11/25 and honestly, the service was brilliant. The team were so helpful and friendly, and the new management she really made a difference — you could tell they’re now on top of everything. The store itself was spotless and really well organised, and I was able to find everything I needed with no problems. It felt like everyone was really working together as a team to make shopping easy and pleasant. I was really impressed with the whole team on today morning. keep up the great work Roundhay :) .

This store has improved massively over the last week. The cleanliness is brilliant — the aisles look tidy, the shelves are well-presented, and the whole shop feels fresh and welcoming. Availability has also picked up a lot, with the majority of products fully stocked and easy to find. A big credit goes to the two new girls who have joined the team. Their hard work really shows. They’re friendly, organised, and you can clearly see the pride they take in their roles. Since they’ve started, the store feels more efficient, more positive, and better run overall. The atmosphere is better, the standards are higher, and the shopping experience is genuinely smooth and enjoyable. Really impressed — 5 stars all the way!

I’ve visit this shop every time I’m in Leeds, and I’m really pleased to see how much it has improved. The shelves were well-stocked on my latest visit, and the store looked noticeably cleaner, which made the shopping experience much nicer. One area that could make an even bigger difference is the lighting. The store still feels quite dark, and brighter, more modern lighting would really lift the atmosphere and showcase the improvements that have already been made. Overall, it’s great to see the progress, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the store continues to develop.

Customer service at the point of sale today was rude, obnoxious and abrupt. My mother visited store today, and a Asian man on the till was abrupt in his tone, not interested in myself as the customer and also condescending towards me. All she wanted to do was pay for her petrol and return a parcel. A second colleague, another Asian man came from the back area and started to say his colleague was not rude or obnoxious which my mum replied hoe do you know you was in the back area. Just go somewhere else for your petrol or goods as advice your custom not welcomed here.

Will never be back there. Went to buy vapes as I ran out and was at work. They asked for my ID and I told them that I will show a photo with my ID as I don't have it with me. Mind you, last time they let me buy it with the photo and now they refused saying it could be altered without even taking a look. I never had any problems buying vapes with my photo ID from anywhere else. Also I am 28 years old, not even 20 to be mistaken for a teenager.
