Yorkshire Movers did a fantastic job moving me from Leeds to Chipping Sodbury near Bristol, December 2025. It must have been one of the hardest removal jobs they've done, as, in my eighties, with much diminished strength and energy and 46 years since my last move, I simply wasn't ready for the physical process. I wasn't fully packed up, so the team were faced with a lot of extra 'boxing-up'. I kept apologising for my lack of 'readiness', but they simply smiled and said it was fine. Ophir also arranged for the disposal of a number of items, including an old safe, which I'd had difficulty disposing of. The team worked relentlessly packing me up on the Friday, and then on Saturday morning, they left Leeds at 5.30 am to arrive at my new home near Bristol for 9 am. Due to narrow access, Ophir had decided to use 3 medium vans. When any of my new neighbours needed to exit the narrow street, the team moved the vans out of the way, willingly and with a smile. Tom, Aidie, Jamie and the young man who helped in Leeds, were all polite, cheerful, incredibly hard working and respectful of my belongings. I can't find enough praise for them or for Yorkshire Movers. I'm not likely to move again anytime soon !! - but l unreservedly recommend Yorkshire Movers for your removal jobs.

We had a fantastic experience with this moving company. We had a lot of boxes and heavy furniture, but the team handled everything with total professionalism and care. They even took the time to disassemble our larger pieces and reassemble them in our new home — such a lifesaver. The price was competitive, and the service was incredibly friendly from start to finish. Moving can be stressful, but they made the whole process smooth and easy. Highly recommend!

While Pickfords and other moving companies were charging an arm & a leg for a single trip where all items were pre-packaged, Yorkshire Movers offered up a far more reasonable quote for the items I had to move. The lads arrived all in good time, we loaded the items together and then met them at the property where they unpacked and helped shuffle stuff around the house. Then we all had a good chin-wag and a coffee before they were on their way. I'll definitely be using this service again with any future moves.
